BOSTON, April 29, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Eaton Vance Senior Floating-Rate Trust (NYSE: EFR) (the “Fund”) held a special meeting of shareholders on April 16, 2021 (the “Special Meeting”). At the extraordinary meeting, the shareholders of the Fund were invited to approve a new investment advisory contract with Eaton Vance Management, the investment adviser of the Fund. The special meeting was adjourned until April 30, 2021 To 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time to give shareholders more time to vote. The October 29, 2020 the record date for shareholders entitled to vote at the adjourned special meeting remains unchanged. Information on the adjourned special meeting appears below.

If, from October 29, 2020, you were a shareholder of the Fund and have not yet voted, the Fund invites you to submit your vote before the adjournment of the special meeting by one of the methods described in the proxy documents of the Fund. The Fund’s proxy circular is available online at https://funds.eatonvance.com/closed-end-fund-and-term-trust-documents.php.

If, from October 29, 2020, you were a registered holder of Fund shares (that is to say, you held shares of the Fund in your own name directly with the Fund) and wish to attend and vote at the adjourned extraordinary meeting, you must send your full name and address to AST at [email protected] You will then receive credentials to participate in the adjourned special meeting. You will be able to vote by entering the control number shown on the proxy card you previously received. All requests to participate and / or vote at the adjourned extraordinary meeting must reach the AST no later than 11:00 am Eastern Time to April 30, 2021.

If, on the relevant registration date, you hold shares in the Fund through an intermediary (as a broker) and wish to attend and vote at the adjourned special meeting, you will need to obtain a legal proxy from your intermediary reflecting the name of the Fund, the number of shares of the Fund you held as well as your name and email address . You can send an email from your intermediary containing the legal power of attorney or attach a picture of the legal power of attorney to an email and send it to AST at the address [email protected] with “Legal Proxy” in the subject line. You will then receive identification information to participate in the adjourned extraordinary meeting, as well as a unique control number to exercise the voting rights attached to your shares. If you would like to attend the adjourned special meeting, but NOT vote at it, please email AST at [email protected] with proof of ownership of Fund shares. A declaration, letter or voting instruction form from your intermediary will be sufficient proof of ownership. You will then receive credentials to participate in the adjourned special meeting.
