BOSTON, May 7, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Eaton Vance Senior Floating-Rate Trust (NYSE: EFR) (the “Fund”) held a special meeting of shareholders earlier today (the “Special Meeting”). At the special meeting, Fund shareholders were asked to approve a new investment advisory agreement with Eaton Vance Management, the Fund’s investment advisor. The special meeting was adjourned to May 12, 2021 at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time give shareholders more time to vote. the October 29, 2020 record date for shareholders entitled to vote at the adjourned extraordinary meeting remains unchanged. If, from October 29, 2020, you were a shareholder of the Fund and have not yet voted, the Fund invites you to submit your vote prior to the adjourned special meeting by one of the methods described in the Fund’s proxy materials. If, from October 29, 2020you were a registered holder of shares of the Fund (that is to sayyou held Fund shares in your own name directly with the Fund) and wish to attend and vote at the adjourned Extraordinary Meeting, you must email your full name and address to AST at [email protected] You will then receive credentials to participate in the adjourned special meeting. You will be able to vote by entering the control number found on the proxy card you received earlier. All requests to participate and/or vote at the adjourned Special Meeting must reach AST no later than 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time to May 12, 2021.
If, on the relevant record date, you held units of the Fund through an intermediary (such as a broker) and wish to attend and vote at the adjourned Special Meeting, you will need to obtain a legal proxy from your intermediary indicating the name of the Fund, the number of Fund shares you hold and your name and your email address. You can forward an email from your intermediary containing the legal power of attorney or attach an image of the legal power of attorney to an email and send it to AST at [email protected] with “Legal Proxy” in the subject line. You will then receive identification information to participate in the adjourned special meeting, as well as a unique control number to vote your shares. If you wish to attend, but NOT vote, at the adjourned Special Meeting, please email AST at [email protected] with proof of ownership of the shares of the Fund. A statement, letter or voting instruction form from your intermediary will be sufficient proof of ownership. You will then receive credentials to participate in the adjourned special meeting.
